I bloody did it!!!!!! I did the previous run outside (my first ever outdoor run) and found it much much easier and really wanted to take this on outdoors but with the snow and the kids off etc I did it on the treadmill. I just can't believe I did it. I am over weight. I might have said that before πΉ And I just ran (jogged) for 20 minutes!!!! I am not going fast. Some people might be able to walk next to me but it's running to me. I did it! I need to stop doubting myself.
W5 R3 completed! : I bloody did it!!!!!! I did... - Couch to 5K
W5 R3 completed!
Well done! That feels amazing doesn't it 20 mins, great acheivement Lcπ...
Outdoor running to look forward to soon hopefully πxx
Running is running, no matter the speed. Walking is different entirely and your run of 20 minutes is wonderful thing.
Is really is. Thank you π
Well done, it's a great achievement!
Don't worry about the speed, you're out there doing it!
Brilliant, it feels really great doesn't it?! Soak up that feeling cos you are doing this! And yes, try to stop doubting yourself... we don't doubt that you can do it (having been amazed with ourselves for managing it) so you shouldn't either.
Well done you! I've just literally got back home from W5R2, so dreading the big 20 minuter next time π²
Well done getting as far. Yes I have to say I was dreading it too. After the first week I was always a bit nervous but also excited but I didn't feel excited today, however I did it! I thought to myself I might not complete it but I will keep trying until I do! Have faith. We will do this!!! We're still here anyway π Good luck let me know how u get on.
I just did W5d1 tonight and foolishly looked at the rest of the week. Scared!! Like you I jog along at my happy pace but an really scared about running 20 mins. Can only try!
Honestly I cannot tell you how amazed I am that I did this. First try. Was ready to have to give it a few attempts. We can do this. If I can do it you can do it. Just take it when it comes. Let me know how you get on π
Congratulations! You're officially a runner now!
Well done, you did it! And as others have said, the speed doesn't count, running is running. If your two feet are the ground at the same time, then that's fine. It's a totally different movement to walking.
I'm really glad you enjoyed being outdoors the other time, and hope you manage to make a habit of it (although naturally difficult weather and family commitments don't always allow that).
You are right about another thing - you need to stop doubting yourself! You've given yourself proof you can do it! And remember that running is for people of all shapes and sizes.
Woohoo! GO YOU.
Thanks π
