I just wondered how people lace their shoes? Mine are as so which is basically how they were when they came out if the box in the running shop in December.
I am sure I read somewhere that lacing them differently can sometimes help your running.
I'm asking because my left foot is starting to ache a little and it feels like the laces are too tight. If I undo them too much though then I won't be supported in my shoe.
All thoughts welcome

I went into Up And Running to ask them this very question, as I have quite wide feet and was finding my left foot was going numb. They showed me a different way of tying my laces which is also on this webpage:
That looping has been a revelation for me - chap at Sweatshop showed me how to do it and now I feel all cool and clever as my 'proper runner' relatives didn't know about it.
The other revelation has been locking laces ie elastic laces with a toggle.
