Sadly slacking again.... but have a plan.

Week 9 is looming again, and once more, been struck down with illness, so not been able to get out and finish. Not done anything for about 10 days now apart from a busy weekend, where I was at least on my feet all the time, but no time for a run. Back to GP on Monday and 3rd course of antibiotics and chest xray to see if this time the chest infection can be cleared. On my last venture out, I really struggled with breathing, even though the legs were willing. PLAN: couple of Treadmill runs later this week, to get back into it and then venture out to finish next week. I will get my badge this time round one way or another!!!

Sorry to hear you've been poorly Caro but pleased to hear you're ready to get back into it. I think we have some better weather ahead so now would be a good time to get out into the fresh air.

I agree that getting out is good. Was outside most of the weekend leading a Cub Camp for 130 Cubs, until I had to abandon it due to high winds and tents converting into kites! Now that camp is over, feeling less stressed in general, so running is to feature again in my life as soon as I can manage a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing too much.

Hope you're feeling better soon. 3 lots of antibiotics? That's a pretty persistent infection- no wonder you've been unable to run. Really hope things improve soon. Take care
