Can't quite believe week one done this morning. Can't say the running got easier but much less achey afterwards!
Woke up keen to go today (running before work. Not sure how I'll keep that up. Any suggestions??

Well done for setting out on this programme! I think you will probably find that as you get further into the plan then you will feel so much more energetic and looking forward to your runs that it will be easy for you to run before work. You say you woke up keen to go today and that will probably continue!
Thankyou! Hopefully it's true that setting off in the first place is the hardest part
As the mornings get lighter it will be a fabulous time to be out and about. You may get the odd morning wherer you just don't feel like getting up, but think of the euphoria you will have afterwards
Well done on getting the first week behind you. I like to go out in the mornings because it sets me up for the day. You may, in any case, need to run earlyish in the morning as the weather is cooler then. Good luck with week 2 and best wishes.
Well done on completing you first week! I'm in the same boat (about to do my 3rd run) and I agree with the aches. Good luck on the mornings, I look forward to seeing how you fair with them as m going to be trying them myself at some point. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Congratulations on completing your first week....it's a great feeling! Suppose the only thing to do is experiment with times that feel good for you. I am a bit of an 'early bird' and find, in this lovely Springlike weather, I am up and out before I realise it! Also, going in the early morning has the advantage of being quieter and calmer, allowing an almost 'private' experience ...hope this meandering makes sense!
Congrats on completing week one. I've just started today
Thanks everyone - I am still feeling very positive going into week 2. It feels good to have a target to aim for too.
