W5r1 done but calf muscles not happy. Definitely felt the burn towards the end of the 2nd run. Still, managed to finish and get home in one very hot, red piece. Now for breakfast..... Happy running folks x

Well done on getting the first run of W5 over with. Just put your feet up and have a good rest until Run 2. You are nearly halfway through the programme now and making such good progress, all power to you. Good luck with R2 and best wishes.

Thanks as ever for the encouragement Fitmo, it means a lot. Cooking up a gallon of soup now for the family's lunch, then possibly a cheeky snooze this afternoon if I'm lucky. Have a fab weekend m'dear.

Thanks Spoonierunning, all encouragement gratefully received. Mind you, my fitness journey is a breeze compared with yours, so good luck to you too.
