W6R1 - done.

This morning I did the first run of week 6. I started to tire a bit on the 8 minute run but managed to keep going. The 3 minute walk break was very welcome before starting the final 5 minute run. By the last two minutes I was lengthening my stride again and really enjoying myself. I covered a little (very little) more distance as well so got home feeling very happy. I got my Race for Life T-shirt today as I cycled into town and, whilst there, called in at the local Cancer Research UK shop. I might start wearing it for practice until I get the one I want for the race, along with a supporters one for husband and a doggy t-shirt for my Jack Russell Terrier who will, alongside my husband, be cheering me on in June. Also started checking out the route for our local R4L - forward planning! Happy running and best wishes.
