Hi fellow runners! Just want you to know I completed W4R3 tonight and I know it's a cliche but if I can do it anyone can! I didn't find it any easier as the week went on but hey it's done and dusted now. I'm kinda trying not to read up on W5 posts cos i'm really apprehensive and don't know what's in store. Thanks for all the encouragement but W5 is not far away and like others i'm having nightmares!
W4 Done and Dusted!: Hi fellow runners! Just... - Couch to 5K
W4 Done and Dusted!
You have relied on and trusted Laura so far. You know those two can be trusted and you can and will do it. Sometimes we do need to push through the feeling of "I shohld stop now" when it arises, amd keep going all the way to the end.
Well done on completing week 4. As you say, week 5 is not far off - I share your worry because I've also just done W4 and am due to start W5 on Monday. Good luck. Best wishes.
Don't worry about W5, you will be fine. I didn't find each week any easier as I went along but I found that I ran further or faster or my breathing improved. Just think of how far you have come already. You can do it, many of us on here had the same worries, just trust the program and yourself. Let us all know how things go x
I did W5 R1 yesterday and it really was okay. Not easy, but doable. Don't be scared, you can do it. (That's what I keep telling myself when I think about doing W5 R3!)
You will be fine with W5, I didn't find it any worse (or better!!) than W4 - and you'll feel such a sense of achievement when you've done it - which you will do good luck!
I just ran W5,R3 and it was challenging, but not as challenging as Week1. I'm amazed at how quickly my unfit, overweight body has adapted physically, just need my brain to catch up and believe I can do it
Thanks everyone for your response and support - I will def let you know how i'm getting on. Good luck to you all - this journey is certainly a team effort!!
