In fact, I ran for about 32 minutes tonight. I'm nowhere near the 5K though. Adding on the warm-up and cool-down walks and getting back home, I did 2.94 miles in 45 minutes. However, today was my fastest overall pace ever and mile 2 was my fastest mile ever.

That's great! You should be proud of yourself! Onwards and upwards
That's great Dewines, well done. Good to have a couple of PBs in your graduation run too. Enjoy your running. x
well done Dewines, i'm not speedy but we're doing it. your badge looks good!
Great stuff! Your badge really suits you. Now on to the c25k+ podcasts?
Heh, heh, thank you!
Not sure quite how to proceed. I've signed up for the women's 10K in Cardiff on May 24th. I know I can walk the whole distance with no problem, so I reckon I can at the very least run some and walk the rest. I guess I need to hunt around for a beginner 10K training schedule now.
Congratulations! X
Congratulations and well done. Enjoy your success. I think I have seen people on the forums mention a 10k training plan somewhere. Good luck with your future running however you decide to continue. Best wishes.
Congrates on completing the programme. The distance will come with time. Keep going and you will get there x
There is a Bridge to 10 k series of podcasts which you can download from here. It's done by someone called Sami Murphy and the music is much better than Couch I have to say!
It's 5 weeks, and you run every other day, the same as Couch. I got stuck a bit on week 4 but I got there in the end and finished on run 1 of week 5!
You can also download the C25k+ podcasts from here too which will bridge the gap between Couch and Bridge to 10 k, so there's enough there to keep you busy for a while
Thank you! Now I have no excuse
