Treadmills, has anyone tried a manual one?

I'm considering buying a treadmill for those times that I can't persuade myself to get out the door. I'm wondering if a manual one would be ok

I have one but its rubbish lol maybe I was just unlucky and they're not all rubbish but glad I only got it for a few quid from eBay. Had it for a couple of years and never really use it.

I've read that it's hard to get them going

I had one of these. I unfortunately didn't get it for a few quid off ebay. It was pants! It stayed down the cellar for a few years and then I got rid of it when I moved house. I wouldn't waste your money. Enjoy the great outdoors instead, especially now it's sunny!

Let's hear it for the great outdoors! It's free!!!! Once you run outdoors you'll never look back. It's really addictive so once you start you'll be champing at the bit to get out there

Happy running!

I aquired on last month. One of the neighbours left one on their drive with a label on 'Free to a good home'

I have still to manage to get it to work properly. It is nothing like a powered one and frankly I am thinking about taking it to the tip!

Just looked at the other posts.

Save your money and go outdoors!

I have been running out doors up until that awful weather then I just refused to go out and I'm struggling to persuade myself out as I'm now scared of how far I've slipped back! I am also in the process of moving which of course is a tiny bit stressful. I'm planning to get back to it in Ernest once in our new home. The treadmill is for next winter so I don't refuse!!!
