Has anyone progressed to a 10k

In a moment of madness I signed up for a 10k in May. In hindsight I shouldn't have been so rash, however I am looking forward to it.

Has anyone gone on to progress to a 10k after finishing the plan? I'm currently on week 8 and can manage a little over 2 miles

Hundreds and hundreds of us... and also to Half Marathons and Marathons :) This is just the beginning....:)

Finish this, slow and steady and you will be completely amazed where it leads to :)

Just get to the nine weeks and then take a peek at the Consolidation Club post and then see where to go next with the What Next post...

You are doing wonderfully....:)

Good for you, admire your enthusiasm. Graduated C25K end of Nov & am concentrating on Consolidation runs. Contemplating Parkruns but haven’t plucked up enough courage to run in a group yet. Continue to enjoy your running 😊👍

Yep!! I worked up to 10k after completing c25k and have now signed up for my first half. It definitely happens ;-)

Yes me too. I added 1k to one run every Monday and made my way up to 10k.

Did my first 10k on the 2nd of December 2019 . In the end I did 5 , 10ks in December. Good luck 😊

A lot of of people have progressed on 10k and much further. A few weeks consolidation after graduation and then you can start adding a extra mile or so to your run. You have got plenty time to get to 10k so you have definitely got this. Good luck

You can do it!

Bottom line if you can run for an hour you’re pretty much there. I would like to do a 10 k around that time too and I’ve only just completed W1.

Good luck!
