ran this morning trying to get used to running in daylight set off at fast pace like lightning first look at garmin 2 miles in 14 mins on we went nearly sick at mile 3 but glad i carried on final time 22.49 so glad i pushed on and no knee probs happy running all

Hi Moger. That is an impressive time. Were you a non-runner when you started C25K in September? And are you running every day with no rest days now?
i had monday off and will have saturday off last full training then next week 3x 5 miles b4 hm on sun . no running b4 sep started doing c25k done it everyday finished it in 4 wks then trained for 10 k in nov after going to clubs and pubs and that sort of life at 45 im fitter then i was at 19,20 ive hitting 24 mins had 23.30 last week for 5k all my times have gone down ten mins off 10k time and hm pratice ,i go swimming once a wk dont drink and if i do its rare and eat right and it seem s to b paying off
Moger, great post - really gives me the incentive to push on after C25k. Just finished W9R2, can I ask what program you followed after C25k? I would also like tackle 10k but need a little advice
ah the long runs i remember then well i couldt wait for her to say stop ,now im like that after 13 /14 miles when you get to 5k try adding a k or mile every time c how you get on there s also a group on the facebook c25kers need any help feel free always good to spread the word have fun im up at six for a 10k good luck

Fantastic! Would like to be able to do that but I've never been fast just good at distance. last time I did this I was doing 6 miles in just over an hour. (late for work and the car was in the garage) Nothing like motivation!
