Haven't run for a fortnight, but popped out today. 5.02k, 35m35s. Heading in the right direction. Been too lazy for the past 2 weeks. Hope I'm back in to it now. Did Stamina with Laura - really good - must have worked.

Hope everyone else's running or recouperations are going well. xx

Sounds good. I tried Stepping Stones earlier in the week and it certainly seemed to give me an extra gear. Let's hope we get some lovely weather over Easter to run in!!!!!!

Here, here - the next few days don't look too promising.

Hey, that's good! Well done.

PS I've been trying the + podcasts too, hard work I thought!

Good to have something to keep to - in the words of a good old pirate of the caribbean, I use them as 'guidelines' rather than strict rules! Hope your running's going well.

Well done, Buffy, glad you're well and out running. Good to hear about the stamina podcast. I haven't tried it yet, but I will. I did my first park run today so I'm taking it easy now with my feet up and a nice glass of red!

Thanks - well done on your Parkrun - did you enjoy it? Where was it.

Yes, it was fun! I was at my Dad's in Hull so I did it there with my brother (much faster than I am) and my husband (who was lovely and ran with me). I did a run on Tuesday night with a local running club too and found that I really enjoyed running with other people. It's funny because I thought I would prefer running alone, but I'm going to make the running club a regular thing. Down to Norfolk tomorrow and I'm going to nail that route that caused me so much hassle in week 8 of the programme! Thought I might try a park run down there next week so just looking at options. Hoping for good weather too, what happened to Spring?!

Sounds great - there are a couple of people on here, you may already know them that do the Hull Parkrun - and then there's old_git that has done Humber Bridge. Let me know if you opt for the Blickling Parkrun I'll come and cheer you on! Will be amazing experience doing that wk8 run again - a real show of how far you've progressed. Have a great week (weather forecast not good for running - oh well)

Where I lived for 28 years - Hull!

Ha, ha, the town where I was born so it was nice to run in the park I used to play in as a little girl! Thinking of either Blickling or Gorleston next week - thought it might be nice to run along the seafront if the weather's ok. Have a good week

Well not sure I'd call it a rest rather like slothness. Hopefully I'm back into it now - I certainly seem to have started something in the village - everyone seems to have gone running mad - its great. How's your progress coming along?

Glad the 'medicine's paid off. Must be great for you to be on the road again - I noticed all the changes along the roadside since I was last out. Haven't had much use of my sunglasses 'tho! Off for an early bed now - I always put my clocks forward about 6pm, so that I don't feel like I've lost out on any sleep! Toodlepip xx
