First post grad run

I had my first run of the week, appalling weather yet again. This evening was a beautifully clear night sky with a bright moon. Glorious run a little slower than my last two in week 9, although my iPod tells me I had a fastest mile. The last mile was in snow flurries followed by hail stones which were a bit painful

Sounds like it started off great! Don't worry too much about being a bit slower than some previous runs - there are so many different factors, at the moment I hope you're still getting that sense of achievement of being able to run for 30 mins. Can't imagine running in snow and hail (we have a bit of a heat wave going on here) so you truly have my admiration!

Ouch sounds painful As my husband keeps saying you can't get PB every run or eventually you would be meeting yourself coming back before you leave the house Or something like that ! It took me quite few weeks after Grad not to be looking to get faster every run and am still tiny tiny bit disappointed at park run if slower than previous week but am gradually accepting that some runs are slower but that's ok Just think about running in dry sunny days in the spring ---or maybe you will miss the hail?
