Hi just joined here. Seems like a great forum with lots of support. I have decided my junk food, movie andPlayStation4 gaming habit is not resulting in the healthy and fit body I wish I had..I have a very manual job but think my body has got used to doing it for the last 15 years so now it doesn't work as exercise any more.. Just completed the first run of week 1 and I cannot believe how sweaty, red faced and breathing like a woman in labour I was....if anyone is a fan of the TV series Friends then just remember the episode of when phoebe runs and you get the idea of how I look... I am determined to smash this as last year I lost 2 stone for my friends wedding (good old bridesmaid duties) but since then it has all crept back on again... I also have a very buff and gym obsessed fella and don't want people to look and think what's that hulk doing with a hippo..even though bless him he always compliments me and never says anything other than call me beautiful..cringe but cute ha ha... Anyway enough rambling on...just asked for a first post and got carried away on a tangent...looking forward to my next run/sweat fest..saz x

Hi ! Well done! I’m hoping to start tomorrow for the first time but I’m really worried as I can’t even run after my kids without huffing and puffing 😂

I was apprehensive but powered through and did surprise myself at how I managed it...my only advice is try to breath through the runs.. And take a small bottle of water... My mouth got sooo dry it felt like I had walked in the shara for a week..Good luck you will smash it! X

We were all there, don't worry, the programme is great. I remember huffing and puffing my way through the first week, then the 2nd week, then the 3rd week...etc. I am now on week 9 and hoping to graduate tomorrow (fingers crossed). Didn't really believe I could do it til I did it, you'll be the same no doubt but if you stick with the programme you CAN do it : )

Not crazy, it's great that you're excited about it! The brilliant thing about starting off like Phoebe from friends is that you will be amazed at your progress a few weeks along. Honestly, I still can't quite believe how far I have come in just a few weeks.

I am which has surprised me lol...i enjoyed it today despite it being hot and sunny, my positive spin on it was I will get a bit of a tan and good old vitamin D. Going for a healthy tea also even though I could smell the chippy down the road ha ha x
