I did it guys! got off my bum and did my first run. not half as bad as what I thought! laura is lovely to listen to and the time flew by. roll on tuesday for the second attempt feeling surprisingly upbeat about things now.

Hi Betcha Congrats on your first run. You'll be hooked! Laura is brill. Hang on to her every word, she will teach you how to run during the course of the next 9 weeks. She spoon feeds you bit by bit so you're not overfaced with how-to's. The music gets pretty bad I warn you, but if you can put up with the music it will make you a better runner. LOL
You see, you can do it! And you will.
Keep posting and don't stop.
think I need to get new trainers. they are top of the shopping list come pay day. I didnt have podcast thing on too loud but think im a heavy breather and even heavier footed - could hear everything I was doing. so looking forward to tuesday!

Congratulations for not hanging about thinking about it but getting out there. Running has given me a very positive attitude on life. C25k is very empowering and I am sure you will never regret starting it.

I did my first run today, week 1 run 1 and I feel fantastic! Its an amazing experience to feel that I've completed it. I am very much looking forward to Wednesday run. Glad to hear you are feeling positive about this too! Good luck, I'm sure we can do this! Katherine
This is exactly how I felt two weeks ago, and I'm so surprised that after each run I'm still feeling just as good. I thought the feeling would wear off, but just stepped it up with week 3 run 1 and feel brilliant! Go us!
