Can any one recommend a waterproof, breathable and warm running jacket? The rain is really starting to get to me!

I was lucky enough to get one for Christmas from my family.

It's from Asics, a good brand (should last a few years). It's a convertible one, which I can remove the sleeves and it becomes a gilet too. Its also wind and water resistant. It really beats my fleece that made me so hot and very sweaty.

Sports Direct have a couple of really thin hooded waterproof running jackets in pink or purple that do the job. Even though they're really thin and light, mine still keeps me warm so I just wear a sleeveless running vest under it. Good value too.

I have an SD one (gift!) and an Aldi one, and both are fine. I wear a hat but I dare say the lightweight hooded ones are fine
