Hi everyone! After a week of rest and stretching exercises, I plan to try wk6 run 3 tomorrow. I'll take it easy and make sure I stretch properly (i haven't previously), but is there anything else i should be doing? My shins feel lots better, but if i were being brutally honest, they are still niggling a little...

I can sympathise with you as I had a very sore shin whilst running then walking and standing etc! I bought some new trainers after having my gait analysed which helped but I also realised I was almost stomping down which was stressing my shin. I now purposely try to land more mid to front foot and the pain almost instantly got better! Good luck, it's horrible being injured x

Hi waletta and nics76. Thanks for the support. I did the run on Sunday and my legs feel really ok. All very strange, but Im not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and start questioning it too much! lol! Still going to take it easy and leave 2 or 3 days between each run for the time being, but fingers crossed it was just a blip!
