Did it!

Woke up at 0530 and even though my brain was telling me to go and do my last run (W9R3) my body was telling me to stay in bed! Gave myself a mental ticking off, dragged myself downstairs, got kitted up and opened the door to.....heavy, miserable drizzlely type rain! Thought about wimping out and going back to bed but made it through the door. Did my warm up walk and then started my run. Rain was horrible but kept going. Legs and breathing fine and have to say really enjoyed it. Did a slightly diferent route at the end and did 5.25k in just over 30 mins. That's it!! A huge thank you to Laura and to all of you....I haven't written a lot of posts and I have replied to even fewer but my work days for the past 9 weeks have started with a brew and 20 mins reading through as many of your posts as I could get through. Your stories have made me laugh, upset me, inspired me, have given me ideas and have made me realise that I wasn't alone in this whole project. To all you graduates out there - well done. To all of you you on the programme - keep going, you will make it. To all you thinking of starting - go for it. Happy running!

Well done it's fantastic that you found the motivation at 5.30am especially as it was raining!! It's a brilliant feeling and you'll soon have your graduation badge next to your name. As you say, happy running :)
