My first C25K post... I’ve been reading other people’s posts and stories over the last 8.5 weeks, mainly coping with motivation and encouragement between me and my pal (we started same time/week). I hit a wall this week. R1 was really hard....slow and I wanted to give up. R2 was meant to be yesterday... but the rain (And thunderstorms) stopped me. I tried to run in the evening (never done that before) and stopped at 15 mins... couldn’t breathe, couldn’t do it. I was freaked out. Pushed myself to go this morning... spent an hour reading through posts and comments here and got some perspective... psyched myself up....and went for it... 5 mins in I thought I was going to collapse... 10 mins in, slowed down a bit. 15 mins tired, but got my rhythm and kept going. 25 mins.... nearly there... AND I DID IT!!! In the drizzle and in spite of myself!
One run to go.... can’t believe I’ve come this far.... I’ve on.y had the podcast downloaded for 9 years before I finally used it 👀
