Running hair! :-/ No creativity and chin length bob too short to go up with heavy fringe (think pulp fiction); how to style when running :-/

I know...better things to contend with! But.....I have absolutely no creativity with hair. Any ideas for styling shorter hair/fringe to keep up and out of face when running?

I'd prob clip up fringe and just tuck it all into a hat. Its going to get washed straight after anyway so it doesnt need to be styled. Just out of the way.

I wear a cap. It keeps my fringe out of the way and doubles as a disguise!!

know exactly what you mean. I use a couple of "hair elastics" and twist my hair into a sort of topknot. Looks dorky but I figure that its the least of my worries !

Slick it back with intensive conditioner. Give your hair a treatment whilst you work out!

I just shove everything up inside a baseball cap. I go out first thing in the morning and my hair has a mind of its own.

It's the after run hair I'm more concerned about. After the shower it has a life of it's own. No-one's noticed the slightly toned body yet, but I've been accused of having a perm.

running hair bad should sort it out dont worry about style getting out there and it not being in the way or irritating your face much more important

I use a thin plastic hair band - pinched from my daughter. It's same colour as my hair, so pretty discreet, and stays in place well while I run.

Like a lot of the other girls on here - I wear a cap. TBH I think it is a bit of a crutch, but it also helps prevent wrinkles because it stops me squinting in the rain or sun (remember those days..?). Also, like someone else said - you may be harder to recognise, which is bonus when you are a sweaty mess.....

In the past, I have used a sweatband as a hair band for workout classes, and that does work pretty well for tucking short layers in.

Everyone

I'm so grateful for the replies. :-) I have already got a shopping list made up of all the things you have suggested! Wanted to reply sooner but with work (and then running after work!) I've been a bit limited on time lately!

Many, many thanks again

You should've seen the state of hair today after a run in the most amazing rain.....not a good look heh heh heh!
