Body prep as in? Muscles? Or skin care? I don't know about you but I get super dry elbows this time of year (random) so am making an effort to ensure they are moisturized. Otherwise they get irritated on my long sleeved tops. Bit random. Soz! Good luck with the HM's ! xx
Love it... Yes I'm going to vas up my elbows tonight.. Great advice... I was thinking about runs.... No runs/ some runs/ final stuff I should do? I'm not following a plan as I don't do them as a rule so I'm just trying to prep as best as poss!!!!?
Ahh in terms of running! LOL. Well I know that my training for the RR seems to imply that you should take it fairly easy the week before. So carry on as normal (you can obviously do the distance!) and then the week before, just do a couple of easy runs - no major distances, think it's kinda keeping your energy resources for race day! Let us know how you get on! xx
I did a couple of long runs a week up to 2 weeks before, then 2 short easy runs the week before. The hard part will be the 16th, I'd go out on the 3rd and 5th and do easy runs, then do a long run and then maybe just one run in the week before your 2nd...
I've never done 2, nevermind 2 so close together, good luck with that
I think I've seen you say something on here about this already, but I'd concentrate on core strength close to the day - you know you can do the distance, that's not a problem, concentrate on your core strength to help your body heal between the two big runs. xx
I love your priorities: hair, outfit ... You do make me giggle. No knowledge to share with you on the prep, sorry but I'm only at W5 this week. My only thought is: lippy! Don't forget the lippy! Good luck with the 2 HMs. Look forward to hearing how you get on.
Hope the sun shines for you juicyju. Will be much nicer if there are no big puddles to run thru on your HMs and well done for getting out there. BIG glass of wine (or bubbles even better) when you have achieved this fantastic goal. Xx
