After 3 long weeks (thanks bronchitis!) I finally finished week 4, and tonight will be attempting my first visit on week 5. If it all goes well over the next few days, I should be ready for that fearsome W5R3 by Sunday - the same day that I'll leave for Siem Reap in Cambodia for a 5 day holiday.
So - I'm planning on doing at least one run around the Bayon, or if it's not too busy with tourists around Angkor Wat early one morning next week. I think I'll get up early before it's too hot (and hopefully before it starts raining too) and get my run on as the sun rises.
If I can persuade my husband or one of my in-laws to come with me, I might even manage to get a photo of myself doing it.
What's the coolest place you've run at?

It might be really humid ! I've been to the Bayon temple and its busy and it was very hot although we went in November time. We also hired a cab with air conditioning and boy we needed it. Enjoy your holiday I went away for 2 weeks and didn't run because of the heat. The first run back was hard but it soon came back. I am very jealous of your trip... its amazing and have fun.
My two best runs have been the Olympic Anniversary Run (finishing on the track, sprinting down the straight like Usain Bolt), and running across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, which was fun but very noisy and full of traffic fumes.
my favorite all time run apart from graduation of course! was on La Manga de La Mar in Spain. I would run on the beach at sunrise as it was just rising behind an island out at sea, the waves were lapping gently on the sand at my feet, the smiles of the locals as they began to recognise me, the feeling of pure freedom and of 'self' was amazing and totally liberating.
