Week 6 Newbie!

I still feel both gobsmacked and amazing after completing the infamous W5 R3, and now I'm looking forward to starting with W6 tomorrow.

Any advice on how to get through this week feeling as envigorated as I did at the end of W5?

Congratulations on completing week 5.

I believe week 6 goes back to intervals which might seem a little frustrating after completing week 5 run 3.

Stick with it as there's purpose behind this which is to consolidate what you have achieved so far.

You're doing really well so more of the same and enjoy your progress.

I struggled a bit, but I think that had more to do with my 12hr shift before my run!

I didn't find it frustrating, just hard!

Lots of people find W6 more difficult than they expected. Going back to intervals after a long run sounds like it should be easy but it isn't always the case!

Bear with it though, and you'll find the longer run at the end of the week will be fine.

Good luck, you've come such a long way.

It was hard, I'm putting it down to fatigue though, and hoping my next run will be better.

Pace yourself - is my best advice - I seem to remember struggling with week 6 - so i slowed it right down and it was fine.

I was slower than a slow thing yesterday, still found it hard. Onwards and upwards though!
