Well, I went out this morning in 23 degrees which was a really silly idea...w6r1 felt such hard work after my euphoria at completing w5! I shall be bright red all day...however, I did manage to finish whilst thinking, this feels soooo hard even though I've only just done the twenty minutes without stopping! Well...onwards and upwards, but I'm really full of trepidation about run 2! 25 mins?? 😳😳

Aha! This can be a tricky run and can be tough. I think it's because after the euphoria of the previous run we think we are invincible and then the first run of week 6 comes along and we realise we're not! But give yourself a big pat on the back because you did it! Well done.

IP is right week 6 is tough for many people plus you had the extra challenge of heat!! I full well know that running in heat is HARD work. The way i got through was tell myself i was in warm weather training and it was doing me good. BTW it did my times in the cooler weather improved! So keep at it and keep telling yourself your doing great because you are!!

Thank you. So. Far I haven't paid any attention to times as I'm not planning on racing or anything - just doing this to get fit. But everyone seems to be fretting about PBs etc, so maybe I will soon...

I think just about everyone feels the same about that run. I also found it tougher than expected, however the next run was masses better. I swear once you do the 20mins, the walks (for me anyway) seem to make it harder!

Thank you...I did run 2 tonight and it was better. Also not as hot, which definitely helped!
