W4 R1. Misplaced optimism?

Just completed W4R1and found it hard going. Week 3 was no problem for me but this seems like a big step up. I did it and breathing was alright but legs seemed to be twice as heavy as they should be. Maybe I shouldn't have sneaked that little bag of peanuts into the house last night! Hoping R2 is an improvement.

Well done! Sometimes it's easier than others & seemingly for no apparent reason. Keep up the optimism after all it was do-able wasn't it? Run2 myself tonight & must admit I'm just as apprehensive as I was for the first run of w4. Hope your next one goes well & easier.

If I remember correctly, week 4 was where I swore at Laura when she told me what I'd be doing. The step up to 5 minutes is the size of Everest. But in a few weeks 5 minutes will be your warm up.

Keep going, you're doing well.

Don't worry, W4 is a bit of a step-up from W3, but it does get easier, I promise.

You are doing great getting this far, keep at it!

I did my W4 R2 tonight & found it harder than W4 R1 Tedium, but when I felt that I couldn't do it & still did it, that was a pretty good feeling. We can do this - as you said "bring it on". I'm sure you were right to say that.

Hi Tedium, week 4 is a big step up from week 3. I really struggled on the first two runs, and really identify with what you say about heavy legs, but I did the third one last night and it felt a bit easier. Keep going!
