Last night being Saturday I over indulged with food and alcohol.
Battered chilli prawns
Sirloin Steak, chips and onion rings.
Caramel shortbread
Cheese and biscuits
Two large bottles of beer
Several glasses of Irish whiskey
All adding up to 3251 kcal and that was without breakfast and lunch.
So today I needed to get rid of as much of it as I could and crack the 10K challenge. Did not get dressed until 12pm and so decided that it was time to eat something give it an hour and go for it.
My 10 year old daughter came with me on her bike and we went for it, ran along the riverside and it was very windy and cold. What was good is that I was concentrating more on my daughter being ok that I did not think too much about myself.
End result......Distance = 10.2k. Duration = 1 hour 4 minutes. Calories burned = 871
Daughter worn out but enjoyed herself.......Me, happy as Larry
