Done run 1 from week 5 today, best ever run, so much fun, It was windy and rainy, my fave conditions to run in, my sister joined me today, and completely surprised me as she was like what I used to be, didn't exercise at all, our intention was she would run the first minute with me of each run and walk the rest, but turns out as we were blethering all through out our runs we ended up running a whole minute over each 5 minute run without even feeling tired, we had deserted Laura for a c25k app timer so that we could chat instead of having to have to listen to Laura. But kept forgetting to check the times. I cannot believe how easy it was, we kept to a slow and very steady jog, as we were admiring the sea view ( we are on a long break away) and chatting so much we lost track of time. Made me realize I have maybe been running too fast, I am utterly amazed at how the time flew by and the distance we managed to cover even with our slow speed and how easy it was. Best run ever. :-) hopefully my sister will still be speaking to me when she wakes up in the morning with sore legs lol

Hi, thanks greenlegs, my sis was a little tender today but she's eager to come out with me for next run, so that's great. Definitely got to focus on pace, I never really realized until yesterday how little attention id paid to that, it was more of a manic got to get through this. Love your blogs/ comments btw you are great inspiration :)
