well, I finally had my procedure. They found a 11mm precancerous polyp, and diverticular disease. So happy I finally found a doctor willing to do my colonoscopy at my age.. (26) if not lord knows what would have happened to me.

Alright LarryBailey,

I'm glad to see you finally got your colonoscopy. It's a good thing you did. You got a lot of knowledge from it. And given that knowledge, what kind of surveillance procedures are you in for because they found a precancerous polyp? There should have been some discussion about that topic.

Again, glad you got it done and found this out early. It is so beneficial to catch things early and you did it. It is crazy what some of you younger people have to go through to get diagnosed from symptoms that could be happening at any age. I am glad to see you got it done. You did a great job. To advocate for yourself which is exactly what you did👏👍.

It’s crazy. Most doctors just kept pushing me away saying it’s just IBS. I haven’t talked to him directly. It took me a little bit to actually come to after being sedated. But my paper work says colonoscopy every 5 years. I have an appointment on the 28th to further discuss this with him.

What symptoms you have before you had your colonoscopy

Localized lower left abdomen pain, constant thin stools. Never feeling like I’m fully done passing stool
