Clean endoscopy and colonoscopy but persistent gastric pain

HiI am a 40 years old female. Family history : my mom who got diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 50 and passed away a few years later. Over 2 months I have been suffering from gastric (upper stomach ) pain which is more like sharp pain , that radiates to back, no reflux , no acidity , but feeling like air stuck in the esophagus so have to burp. I passed abdominal CT scan , ultrasound (all digestive organs ), female reproductive system, endoscopy and colonoscopy , relevant blood tests . All clean , all good. Had my heart checked out as well to rule out cardic problems. But this pain persists. Doctor does not know what it could be. I am so bummed that I do not know my illness to know the solution. Anyone has had experience with this ? Thank you

Hi,

Has you diet changed? Are you eating more gassy foods? Have you tried windeaze tablet's for trapped wind? Are you slouching more when you are sitting? All this can cause the wind sensation and wanting to burp. A simple dietary change and drinking more water may help. I suffer from trapped wind. It's just started, im 55 female. I have altered what I have said to you and my symptoms have eased a lot.

Hi Burper007,

Looks like you've had all the checks and very strange something wasn't found to be the culprit. Good thoughts from Tempest1. Can you think back to some change that took place 2 months ago?

Maybe more on this site will share a similar experience. I do hope you find a solution. And when you do find the solution, please share. I find this interesting.

Thank you,

Tom

Mine was just stomach acid, whole stomach was irritated including some esophagus damage, all biopsied no cancer. They put me on proton pump inhibitor medication at night and before breakfast so I'm able to eat again. Not your exact situation just giving another perspective. I can tell you the months leading up to the weight loss crisis in my case were constant worry/grief (several relatives passed away), high stress job, and drinking a lot (4 ounces) vodka each night which definitely did not help the stomach acid problems.

Also I got diagnosed with gallstones due to weight loss. Which can cause sharp pains as well. Mine was picked up on CT scan though so if yours passed I'm not sure what else to suggest.
