I have suffered from Crohn's disease for thirty years - had an MRI a month ago and it was thought I had a large abscess - however, no pain and normal blood led to biopsies and today I have found out I have a 5cm adenocarcinoma in the bowel. I don't know what stage it is - finding out next Thursday. I guess this is the beginning of a long course of surgery and chemo - I find the posts here reassuring and will be checking in regularly.
