Back on it 6k!

My longest run since a hip injury in mid December! So happy 😊. I loaded up a NRC 6k and felt like a slug at first, but by 5.5k I felt I was flying along. Average pace was 6'48" and that was with 30 secs of walking at halfway. It definitely helps me to not push to run the whole way. I rather dislike the expression 'blessed' but feel very grateful for finding the right YouTube strengthening exercises that have had a good result for me.

That's brilliant! And I can only dream about being able to run at that pace. Great achievement!!

That's so kind, thank you Gwenllian1 . I'm really trying to stay injury- free, so doing some walking (during the runs) really seems to help.

I am also injury prone at this time of year; starting to pick up now though; thanks to my brilliant physio and some milder weather. Good run; huge steps in the right direction. 👍
