Recovery run 3, back up to 6k

Well I have had a very busy but brilliant bank holiday weekend, 2 days away in the Yorkshire Dales based in Richmond, dodging the Tour de Yorkshire crowds and visiting all the beautiful villages.

Then today a first extremely dodgy round of golf for the year. After cutting the lawn and gardening this afternoon I felt I had enough left in the tank to get out and run.

At 5pm the temperature was still in the low 20s so I set off slowly and ran around Big Waters nature reserve. The breathing felt ok although I did have a pain in my right shoulder maybe from the golf.

Anyhow I managed to shuffle along to 6k, my longest distance since my latest asthma flare up. Pretty happy with that.

Run happy, run safe.

Hmm, yeah GNR.....I’m a long way off that at the moment Chris, due to my injury and losing 5weeks training. After the 10k race this coming Sunday, I’ll be increasing my mileage gradually so onwards and sideways from hereon in 🤗

Watch this space 😊🏃🏃

I will and if you come up we can meet for a quick warm up run and a pint the day before maybe?
