After last weeks HU10K & midweek club hill session, for some reason I fancied a run this morning. It's been raining in Derbyshire & quite cool but seems to be ideal running weather. I did my warm-up stretches, got Otto the dog ready & off we went. Stop start as we started so Otto could do his business & sniff about bit but mostly a steady run & most surprising I was enjoying being out, running (albeit slowly) at an age most people, apart from on here, are sitting at home. Thanks to all on HU for telling your stories & giving me the umph to get out.

Enjoying it is what it’s all about 🤗 and it sounds as if you and Otto have many miles to do together 😍

Yay 😁 that's great, enjoying being out and running is a wonderful thing to be doing, at any age but especially as we get older

Really good to hear Jonwil. We don’t get that buzz with every run, but after the event I am always glad that I made the effort to get out. Tomorrow may be another showery day, the trails will be muddy after today’s down pours….but, I know that once I get out of the door, all that will fade away and I will just focus on putting one foot in front of the other for as long as it takes. Growing older disgracefully is a fine objective 🙂
