What a week this has been. My August Quest to run 3 times this week was hampered by the sweltering weather, but mostly hampered by a bathroom DIY project π (that was seriously underestimated π₯΄ βΊοΈ).
I had to delay this weeks run No.2 (which I had hoped to do on Friday π). And I was STILL doing the bathroom yesterday and all day todayπ€¦π½ββοΈ. My body has been definitely been through a lot π!
Finally getting out there today, felt fantastic π! But, I was very mindful of the amount of work that I had already put my body through all week! When my coach said βgo..go...goβ! Well...letβs just say, there was no surge π! I just didnβt have it in me, but thatβs ok. I was just glad to be out for a little while.
Iβm not surprised! All that DIYing mustβve really taken it out of you! Good on you for getting out, it really helps to escape when youβre trapped in a project like that.
Thanks so much TailChaser! π€ It was meant to take a couple of days at most. But then, with all the filling waiting, sanding and mask taping it took FOREVER! π
I did have lovely soak with bath salts!! I never want to do any DIY ever...ever... (Did I say βeverβ?) again.
I do say that after every project I take on though. ππβ€οΈ
Me too! They seem to take longer and longer every time! The worse thing is you spend most of it doing prep and itβs only that final bit that everyone else appreciates. Bet it all looks great now though ππ€x
Thanks so much Lexi6! π€ Getting out there this evening was the first thing I thought of.
I was slightly miffed by how long it took! Talk about the never ending story! And of course my quest was broken by it too! So, it was a rebellious run, thatβs for sure. Slow π ....but rebellious! πβ€οΈ
