I am again quite silly with excitement of having reached 6k continuous running this morning!

It really feels I am finally on my way to 10k again.

Just had to share and applaud all who are on the 10k journey!

This is excellent - really well done!

I reached 50 minutes a few weeks back, but then with Covid and a hip injury I stalled a bit. The last few runs have mainly been between 20-30 minutes, so you're right: pushing that bit longer (or further) again does feel like a milestone worth celebrating.

I am also building up to 10k again after Covid, colds, knee pain and travelling. I alternate distances each week with times. So last week, I ran three 5ks in 28.5 minutes. So next week, I’ll have three runs at 30 mins and see the distance covered. Then the following week, I’ll do distances and up them by about 10%.

Always careful to not go too far or fast if any niggles along the way and mandatory rest days in between. Good luck. You’ll soon be at 10k.
