Slow and steady after work run, found it fairly hard in places today but kept going to 6k. Just a week and a half until my 10k so the real build up needs to start. Wore my new running cap which weighs virtually nothing but kept the rain off perfectly. Love a new piece of kit!!!

Sounds great! Glad the cap helped - it's so satisfying when a new piece of kit meets your expectations.
You did well to keep on going - I find after work runs so much harder than morning ones. While it's nice to shrug off some of the stresses of the day (and it's something to look forward to while in work), it's natural that you have less gas in the tank, as it were.
