Getting stronger again slowly

Longest non interval run since the stroke. I ‘jeffed’ my 10K on Tuesday so didn’t want to push for a 10k again this week, especially as it was a no breaks run and already 25+ degrees.

Note the negative splits, very pleased with this, might not be the 5:00 pre stroke pace but it’s great progress for just over three months since the brain grenade... even got in and did some free weights (can’t do anything involving shoulders and neck though)

Careful in this heat folks, stay hydrated!

Feeling strong 💪

Well done 💪👍😃. Getting back to strength is slow going at times, especially in the sort of weather we have at the moment. It’s all positive though and we know we’ll get there if we just go carefully. I learned patience from the injury couch 😁

Training with free weights is good int it 💪🙂 Strengthening at the gym was new to me but loving it We’ll be fitter than ever before hopefully

Really well done Cliff. Fantastic pace. Stay cool. We’ve had a week-long heat wave here too. It is brutal. 👍🏼👊

It's good to see you getting back to form after your stroke. Negative splits ... Whoohoo!!! Always great to see. It may not be your pre-stroke pace but you've come along way and will steadily improve.
