Spanish Sunrise 8k and Swim

What a contrast from my last post re wet and soggy run. I am currently in Southern Spain and it is very hot. Way too hot to run in the sun so I got up before sunrise to do an 8k run along the beautiful coast. Watched the sunrise over the sea as I ran. I was so in the moment the time passed so quickly.

A good 8k run later I jumped in the sea for the ultimate cool down.

Back for my breakfast smoothie. Bliss! I think I’m getting to like this running lark!

There's dedication 👏, I couldn't run in the Spanish heat recently. I went out early, not before sunrise though, but found it still too hot and sticky. Too easy to be dehydrated, which is a disaster for running. Hope you get to enjoy more runs 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

Yes I made sure I had water with me, although I hate carrying bottles.
