Ready steady go 10k!

Tomorrow I’m doing a 10k - the last race was the HM in June and before that a 10k in November 21 so I don’t rush these things! Thanks to whoever posted the NRC 10k plan on this forum some time ago which I’ve followed and it’s been perfect. The twist with the one tomorrow is we’re all doing it to raise awareness of fostering with your local council so I’ll know lots of people there. It will add a new dimension running with A lot of familiar faces. I’m hoping for around 1:15 but I’m going to try not to focus on my watch too much so I don’t get sluggish at the 3/4 mile mark as I’ve found in recent runs. Good luck to everyone else racing tomorrow! Picture of my faithful running companion Lily!

Have a fab race tomorrow StringsandKeys ! I don't seem to have you in the list for the pompom cheer over on Marathon? We're cheering on our VRBS here: healthunlocked.com/marathon...

I'd be very happy to add you if you could let me have the name of your event and the website, if there is one. 😀

And yes, isn’t the NRC10k plan great. I’m on week 4 so a bit behind you!
