Park walk/run was hard going this morning but I managed it with a repeat of listening to jo Whileys w9 again.I dont know if it was the weather or lack of water the day before, but it was a hard slog.
My time was also poor but in my defence I did have to break half way round to use the loo.
I dont know what it is but I dont seem to be enjoying my runs this time round, like I did when I first started C25K 2years ago. I am hoping that when I improve again the fun will also come back.
I have now completed W9 3 times and each time was a little better, so onward and upwards.
Happy running everyone x

Don't worry doggytail, things will get better and you will be running faster than you did today, well done on getting out and not sitting on the couch, as you say "onwards and upwards" 👍🏃🏾
I think we all go through spells of not enjoying running as much as we did, that was certainly me in December. Hopefully you'll feel better in time.I don't usually listen to stuff but I know in a bad spell I started listening to the Women's Running podcast which definitely inspired me. My legs feel heavy and running become a bit of a slog whenever I've not drunk enough so I bet that's the reason for it feeling tougher.
Tbh I'm not surprised you're not enjoying your runs doggytail , because you're at it again, beating yourself up for not doing whatever is it - I don't know!
I genuinely don't understand why you're so harsh on yourself. You talk about having done week 9 three times as though you'd just done 30 minutes. You say parkwalk/run was hard going, as if you'd just completed 5k. You didn't. You did nearly 13km and were out for 1 hour 42 minutes. Please celebrate that achievement!
