My first walk/jog on my own since my fall.

I wont say it was easy cos it wasnt, I had to phone my husband for a ride back🙄 I was hot 😚and needed the loo.

I was pleased I had attempted it even though it was slow, I walked faster than i jogged.

Will have another go on Monday onwards and upwards.

Happy running x

Well done, you are now in full recovery after your fall, that was a nice jog/walk for you today, onwards and upwards 👍

Well done getting back out there. Go steady and take your time.

Glad to see you recovering after your fall 👍

Very best wishes, doggytail on your journey back. You're an absolute star for making a start.... and making the wise decision to stop at the point it became too much. Two big wins there! 🙌🙌

Very well done doggytail. I’m so pleased you ran! And I think it’s in the job description somewhere that husbands pick us up when needed 🤣. All the best! 😊

Slow is the way to go!

And with that rhyme out of my head, better slow and steady than fast and eh... no rhymes sorry. Anyhow it is better to start slow and steady and be able to actually run, than to go fast and end up hurting yourself. So you did great! As for the drive home, meh the run was over, so it doesn't matter.

A sensible approach today to avoid injury and to help you continue running! It's difficult not to get caught up on pace. Despite us knowing that the right thing to do is to run slowly, I'm still a bit concerned that my pace is slower than it was 18 months ago, just before I got injured and had several months out. However, I'm running without injury and that's the most important thing, as it is for you!
