Running thinkingly of @Oldfloss’ Field Run

Constantly came back in my thoughts to Oldfloss Field Run poem, as my little run this morning looked like scenery painted by @oldfloss’ post.

So I was glad to get out there early enough to need a light fleece, especially when joggling along (on my NRC “speed” run) on the sun-dappled, cooling woods on my route.

All that came after a very satisfying day yesterday, where besides the usual daily work work, I managed to fit in an indoor-row with the ZLDR crowd on Zwift (see pic of all our avatars running) and a yoga session.

Yoga and rowing are now again almost a daily occurrence. Add to that, running 3 days a week, but each session still feels so, so special. Compared to where I was physically 3 years ago, it is a very very wondrous thing!

Keep on writing poems, take pictures of every run, sing on your workouts and celebrate every single session (ideally with a little post on here 😍), and most of all, keep on keeping on everyone!

What a lovely positive post 😊Although I can't believe needing a fleece 😂🤣😂

Since my post hols running blues I've been trying like you to do something every day. Mine is a mix of my physio exercises, pilates, yoga and of course runs. It's definitely helped me start to get back into my pre hols routine.

Oh that’s good! Yes, reading your posts… I could feel your post-holiday slump! You might need to start planning the next running-rich travels! 😄😃🧳🏃🏽‍♀️

Do you do Parkrun tourism? (Apart from not-Parkrun, I don’t do Parkrun at all, but love the concept)

No I still haven't actually done a physical Parkrun, I did check if there were any suitable when I was on holiday but none matched my itinerary.I keep meaning to try one, bit I know my nearest one is a bit hilly, I'd rather start with a flatter route

Parkruns are on my bucket list of running adventures.. but mine are also quite a drive away. So I’m waiting for that holiday that just happens to be close to a parkrun! :-)

It’s a sleeveless thin fleece, I usually wear with a T-shirt, for that morning chill. 😃
