Forestry England’s Way-Marked Routes

Just reading a Women’s Running magazine and got reminded about the Forestry England’s initiative to support the running community by having dedicated way-marked routes.

Sadly not in my area. But maybe some are close to the places you run in?

Keep on running!

Sadly nowhere near me either...but I did discover there's a place in Kent called Thong (which made me giggle) 😂

Only two within an hour's drive of me (Delamere and Southport), and both of them are parkrun venues.

Yes, there's one that I could do as a day trip. Thanks 👍🏼

I think my nearest ones are in Kent at Bedgebury (I’m in Sussex). I have done Canicross runs at Bedgebury, it’s a nice place 👍

My secondary school was on the edge of Bedgebury forest I think ( was only there for part of year 7). I can remember walking there with my family.

Given that I'm in France there definitely won't be any near me! However, there are lots of waymarked walks where I live. This is both wonderful and very confusing, as they're all marked the same and look very similar. I yet again ended up doing more than I intended this afternoon because I can't tell certain trails apart!
