New Years resolution

can’t start my New Years resolution yet either walk or jog everyday, more walking as having to await 2 day PCR result for arrival back into country from abroad , it hard not getting out even just for a walk. I truly admire those people in isolation for months who couldn’t get out had no garden etc. Probs Friday before result, hopefully negative. I am doing my indoor exercise bike for 30mins a day , sore on bottom, watching movie on iPad , better than no exercise. Happy running or doing exercise you love.

Oh those stupid day 2 PCRs!!!! I got mine done at a place in a shopping centre. Had to walk through crowds of pre Christmas shoppers and ask for directions to find the place. Was so fed up at the inefficiency and lack of joined up thinking it really made me question the whole rationale so I bought myself a Greggs pasty as a treat (I know how to live 😂). The upside was I got the result (luckily negative) next day. Hope you don't have to wait too long, it's so frustrating being stuck inside when you want to be active.

Did mine at home impressed by the quickness on test going out . Posted mine yesterday morning, but bank holiday Scotland, so think Friday now before result.

I sympathise, I actually tested positive last Thursday and am still testing positive, so New Year’s Day parkrun to start off running 3 times a week in 2022 was off limits. It has at least spurred me on to start my 3 month home workout programme! Hopefully be able to make a start next week 🤞🏻
