2nd Brooks outing

9 hours sleep and a bed full of gremlins. As I sat in bed “willow is it raining? “yup” he answered, “Oh good we don’t have to run” as I snuggled down with my tea and book.

Then the sun came out “ugh, park will be full of kids on scooters” but we went anyway.

The park was almost empty, the sun was shining and off we set for a warm up walk, the air is cool but we soon warmed up.

The Brooks feel fine, we ran we jeffed a bit we chatted and we sang, then we sprinted a couple of times and Willow turned round, as i came round the top of the track he was sitting on the bench, but a run is a run and it was fun. Then we took some photos and then we came home.

Looking good girl! Glad the brooks worked for you, got to love a bargain. I think that once you know what shoes work for you, it's fine to look online. And it's ecologically sound, so that's a win win! ☺️

I’m really tired after Thursday night so just making sure i get some running in, next weekend I’m on leave but still may have to work it, it’s being a bit tough at the moment

It was beautiful this morning and well done for getting out. I’m afraid the gremlins got me and I didn’t run today, or any day since Monday actually 🤦🏻‍♀️. I did some strength training instead though. Glad the Brooks feel good 😊

Great run, you look so happy and healthy! Gremlins got the better of me too yesterday (and this morning,it's horrible out there!). I cycled 6km to the local butcher once the sun came out but have been kicking myself that I didn't run while the weather was nice.

I am very happy because the weather put me off this morning and a niggling injury is niggling more so may need to take a while off running, i’m hoping my trip to podiatrist next week will sort things out

Feet problems can cause many sorts of injuries. I have to use special soles in all my shoes for example. Hope he'll be able to help!

I have special insoles too but at over 3 years old i think they are coming to their natural end, he will make me a new pair and coupled with rest i will live to run another day
