And there we were, drinking tea in bed and Willow muttering it’s cold out there and for the second day in a row snow flakes fell from the sky…. I wandered in to the kitchen and said I’d got to run because I invited Jo, Willow said he’d pass…. then it hit me! It’s one of Willows daughters birthday meal out this evening, presents bought ✅ wrapped tick ✅ Pretty bag filled tick ✅ but I always make the cake 🎂 whoops…. check ingredients and start baking.
Message from Jo, O can make 11.30…. me… give me til 12 I’ve got a cake in the oven….
So 12 came and there we shivered, Jo had already been out this morning so had more layers than me, it’s about 500 metres round our park so warm up walk 1 run. one walk one run one, neither of us had music so we talked…. and talked, we weren’t running fast but i was puffing a bit, could still talk though!
Her little dog ran around and barked at any dog that came into the park, we smiled and said hello to many people, 3k and left the park, round the golf course, what’s going on? sticks/stakes in a line rather curvy line, hope it’s trees not roads! Round the other side and oh my 😮there’s a track, wow this is going to be amazing to run through the bigger wildlife park and round the lake. Back past the river, very slow with plenty of walking 5k done, walk back to the car and we’ll the snow didn’t come to anything but it’s blimmin’ cold out there !
