So many staff now testing positive but we still have enough staff for me to take my long awaited leave.
I worked Friday night and i don’t know why I thought I’d be able to run on Saturday but after a couple hours sleep I felt rubbish all day, I wondered if the sore throat and cough was just tiredness and yup that’s what it was.
But today…. it would have been so easy to just put it off til tomorrow.
A hilarious thing happened with our headphones, well mine anyway. Willow wears just the right one, i wear both, we have identical sets, so he puts his in…. I put mine in… I have Mary chapin Carpenter singing in my right ear and Cold play singing in the left ear. I wore only a he right one and will sort that out another time
To the run. Worst Advice Ever 30 minute run with NRC. I really enjoyed this, the music, lol more tech issues, Spotify took over and played Chilling 2020 by Willow Withers which isn’t running music, step daughter puts it on to send the kids to sleep!
But I really enjoyed myself and can recommend that NRC run. We incorporated the 5 minute warm up walk in the run time, as it’s the weekend went round the industrial estate as its peaceful round there, hardly any people and few cars, round a corner and there is my daughter and dog come out to cheer us on, stopped for a little chat and stroke then she went one way and we carried on the other, once round Willow went to get the car and park it near hers, I met them again and walked back with them, it was so great seeing her, so, a slow run some chilled music, a natter with daughter a play with my favourite dog and fresh air. What’s not to enjoy?

Such a pity that there are so many positive cases of Covid where you work, yesterday I got my 3rd Covid 19 booster jab.Apart from different music 🎶 playing in each ear you seem to have enjoyed your run today, well done, I am now waiting for run reports of this morning's Great South Run, I hope everyone had a good run.
Yes thanks, it’s being a lovely day off, I’ve been worrying about incident forms and health and safety checks and planning to pop in and collect them to do from home when i realised now the boss has covid i will be back before her and can do them then 😂
Well done both of u getting out in trying times for you Sola. Glad you e got your leave a well earned rest. Could t get volume right on my Spotify either too low or too high. Just listened to a variety of music I downloaded from Ed Sheeran Proclaimers , Annie Lennox a variety but the one I liked this morning was Hakuna Matata from jungle book. Great beat to run to. 😊
Glad you’ve got that flu jab over and done with, had mine a few weeks ago and between the inflamed arm and aches all over i was relieved i don’t have another fir a year
I had mine booked and i had enough petrol but couldn’t get there for the queues at the local garages so cancelled after sitting in non moving traffic for nearly an hour but yes it’s definitely jab jab jab
Well i will book it again but surrounded by covid and not too worried at the moment
Too bad there are so many covid cases. It really is a bastard that bug. I had my third booster mid September (due to being on immune supressants). My flu jab is planned early November.
Funny though with the mixed music. I think I'd go cross eyed hearing it the first seconds 😂
I couldn’t work out where it was coming from then realized it was what Willow was listening to, we’ve worked out if i start mine first they link to my phone but if he starts his first the left one links to his harmon, should have bought a different make for me lol 😂

Husband and I also have exactly the same ear buds and I’ve picked his up before, driven somewhere, and then had to faff around pairing his bud with my phone, just before starting my run 🙈
I’ve tried using a Sharpie to mark them but it still wears off. 🙃
Thanks Maddee, he’s had his for a while, I could have bought mine in a different colour but didn’t think of that until too late. We’ve tested them now and if i put mine on first I get my music and he gets his
Thanks, yes it was funny hearing 2 different songs at the same time, I’ve just done my test this morning and too scared to go back and look at the result 🤪but I feel fine so going for a run soon
