I should have left work by 4 and we’d agreed to meet at 5, I finally got away and in my car at 4.40 so got home changed quickly and went to meet Jo and her little dog. I felt a bit weary and Jo’s wheezing a bit after her cold so we took it steady.
Week 3 run 3 a comfortable run then a walk after to take us to 4.6k which we were happy with.
Lots of dogs running around and children on scooters and bikes, so it was good to get done and go walk round the lake.
Saturday we are going over the downs because the park will be busy and both looking forward to that.
Happy running all

Getting through a lot faster than last time, we are keeping each other motivated. And her little dog has really got the hang of running along with us, I’m really enjoying it this time round, i seem to remember constant aching legs last time round
Yes and my increase in fitness is noticeable i could never have kept up with Jo if we’d started together, i’m so looking forward to running on the downs again, hills are strengthening
Congratulations Sola on completing run 3 of week 3 with your friend Jo and her little dog, I am glad that you enjoyed your 🏃🏾 run then the 🚶 walk afterwards.
Thanks, we will, my friend lives almost at the top of the hill so we’ll start at hers warm up walk where it’s steep then run along the top, i love it up there but the park is easier
Thanks Jools, it really is good doing it again my legs are taking a pounding from running faster and I’m looking forward to just running and settling into a longer distance, but for now enjoying it
Another lovely place to run, you seem to be spoilt for choice, Sola. It's so nice to do the runs with a buddy, and it must be really satisfying to see the difference in your own ability.
