Day 2 after work

Phew it’s hot and I’ve been super busy all day at work but I’m determined to either run or walk every day after work.

So I arrived home, got out the car and got a feint whiff of the sewage plant just over a mile away so we won’t be going to our park for a quick run round the track under the cooling shade of the trees,

It’s either a walk on the Downs or a quick blast round the industrial estate, Willow was ready and chose the industrial estate.

Very few trees in the blazing sun we warmed up and set off, it’s all concrete, wow it’s hot!

This is a 20 minute out and back run with NRC, oh it’s good to be out 😄

It wasn’t fast but it is hot and now we are home having shared an ice cream and dripping all over the kitten.

That was good and we are pleased we went but tomorrow it’ll be a walk in the woods.

It’s really hard to make myself go and it helps that Willow is ready and waiting, but it does become a good habit, mind you I can’t wait fir Tuesday my day off when zi can run in the morning and go a bit further

Thanks, i think we will only be able to walk tomorrow but Tuesday is a day off so maybe a longer or faster run

Sounds like a nice idea to get in a run or walk every day after work, even just a short one 👍🏼 I try to do the same in my lunchtimes as I sit at a desk all day - at home still at the moment. Working my way through C25K so doing as I'm told re: runs but I do pop out for a walk when I can even if it's only 20 mins.

I sit at a desk a lot of the time too but not at home, I don’t have a lunch hour either none of us do where i work

Well done on getting out there in this heat. I crawled on my treadmill yesterday with a fan on me, wasn't courageous enough to battle the heat. And you dripped what on Parker?? Poor kitty, shall I come and get him so he doesn't get dripped on again? 😜
