Ooh I'm so pleased to have managed my 10K run this morning, skipping injury hopefully behind me now π€
Set out slow and the first 5K was tough, I think I was overthinking..will the ache come back.. felt I was running a bit tenderly.. but once I got into the second 5K things got back to my normal and I managed to pickup pace a little on the last few K's π
Can't tell you how happy I am to have got a longer run in, and back on track with the HM training plan πͺ
Feeling good after my shower, no aches.. and my new trainers are feeling great πββοΈπ

Well done Sparky, I didnβt run this morning as I had backache all last night. Hope to run 2morrow.
Thatβs great. No aches . You do tend to go careful at first just to make sure you feel ok, and you obviously did and had a great runπI bet it felt good in your new shoes. What is your training plan for the HM?
So just increasing slowly. I sure you will build back up quickly πMy running has been great. A PB 5k and a PB 10k yesterday. Didnβt enjoy the 10k, I had my new shoes on for time and went off way too quickly and at was really warm. So even though it was a PB it was awful. Iβm used to running really early in the mornings but I was too eager to try the shoes. Lessons learnt π₯΅
5k early in the morning hopefully. Does everyone do a HM non stop? I did for the 10 miles but I donβt know if I can for a HMπ₯΅
